Cash: Registered with the Pinto Horse Assn of America (PtHA), as PB Mayan Cashmir, born 6/6/05. Cash has changed colors 3 times since he was born. He is registered as a seal brown overo (and he is currently a very dark seal brown color with a small white spot on both sides and a wide blaze). He has a left rear sock and a partial sock on the right rear. His sire is a stocky 15+ hands black and white APHA stud with blue eyes, his dam is a stocky, grade dark bay mare approx 14.2 hands. He is an extremely personable gelding that loves people, attention, and treats. He is very gentle and gets along well with the other horses including the younger foals and the older mares and geldings. He is currently approx 14.1 and still growing. He went to the county fair as a weanling and has always loaded, trailered, and tied well. He is good with my farrier (an Amish friend) and very easy to catch (actually, it's hard to get away from him... he comes and finds you!). He has been an "easy-keeper" and if he is still here, he will begin light saddle training as a 3-year old. I like his looks and personality and he is a favorite of many of the locals here. He will be one that should be very easy to saddle and mount when he stops growing and is physically ready for riding. He would be an excellent choice for 4-H as a project involving care and eventual saddling/training. I have used both of his older (half) brothers as personal mounts and have never had a buck or a rear out of either of them. Both were exceptional trail horses. Cash is much more people-oriented and friendlier than either of his older brothers.
